This is a large Dorcus titanus. It has a broad mandibles
which curve inwards at their extremity. The inner edge of
each jaw is saw-like. This beetle is entirely black in
colour. It has a head as big as the prothorax. Perfect
complement to the Dorcus alcides(SB1007).
