Presented is two Heliocopris tyrranus in a frame!
Heliocopris tyrranus is also named as "dung bettle" or
"tumblebugs". As the name suggest, these creatures live on
DUNG! Sound nasty but there is a touching story behind it.
The male dung scarabs will roll a large ball of dung and
bury it as food for the female during the breeding time.
Then the larva too, feeds on the ball until it emerges from
the pupal stage and makes its way out of the ground. Such
a warm family!
